Well, it’s forecast to dollop a load of snow here tonight so I thought I’d write and do an update of up-coming events for the diary that will be taking place when they weather is less artic! I think I’m particularly feeling the cold this week having enjoyed a very relaxing two weeks in southern Spain over the New Year - I can thoroughly recommend Nerja if you want to visit Andalucía, it’s a brilliant town, lots of sun and tapas.

When I got back, I received the great news I’d been accepted to show at Potfest in Scotland at the very beautiful Scone Palace in Perth. The show runs for the 12th, 13th and 14th June 2015 and I’m really looking forward to being part of it. http://www.potfest.co.uk/potfestscot.htm

Two weeks after Potfest Scotland, I’ll be heading down to Rufford Abbey, Nottinghamshire for Earth and Fire International Ceramics Festival on the 26th, 27th and 28th June 2015. This event is in its 21st year and I’m very excited to be accepted to sell my work there. http://www.nottinghamshire.gov.uk/enjoying/artsandculture/arts/earth-and-fire/

At the end of July it’s a quick journey up the M6 to Penrith to show at Potfest in the Pens, 31st July, 1st and 2nd August. I’ve visited this event for many years and this year I’ll be selling too! One of three Bolton potters there- Muffin Ceramics, LMG Ceramics and me - so watch out! http://www.potfest.co.uk/potfestpens.htm

Before all of these great events in the summer, I will once again being showing at the British Craft Trade Fair, Harrogate in April. This is one of the premier craft trade shows in the UK so the next few months I’ll be developing new lines of work, both my jewellery and my vessels, to exhibit there. I’m sure I’ll be posting pictures between now and then so keep an eye on my website www.katyoneil.com , my twitter account @KONceramics or my Facebook account https://www.facebook.com/Katyoneilceramicjewellery .

These are just some of the summer highlights (I’m dreaming of warmer weather!) but there are many other things in the pipeline to watch out for which I will write about another time.
